Us
We
are the accumulated experience of our team of associates. Together we
provide a comprehensive approach to project development, capital
management, project financing and corporate team building. The W G
Phillips Company was started in 1994 as an acquisition and development
consultant for a Boston-based company working with Wal-Mart
stores in New England and the southeast. Our most recent assignments
have varied from mixed-use land acquisitions to project specific
acquisitions for redevelopment as single-family, condominium,
hotel or office developments for Toronto Canada based global
investor/developer clients. Our work currently focuses on income
producing property acquisitions, dispositions,
operations and
financial consulting for public and private sector organizations.
Our investment company, Southern Realty Capital Partners, LLC acquired
existing multifamily properties for our own account and in conjunction
with partners.
William
G "Bill" Phillips, CCIM: Bill started in the real estate business in
1973 after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a
bachelor degree in business. He started in the development business in
Houston, later transferred to Atlanta and has worked continuously in real estate.
He started at the development project management level and moved quickly
up the ranks to become president of the real
estate subsidiary of a large
Atlanta-based publicly traded development and general
construction company with
property in 10 states. He has extensive
background in land development, retail, single and multi-family
projects.
He is an accredited member of the CCIM Institute (Certified Commercial
Investment Manager).
Bill has accumulated skills as an excellent corporate leader,
development project manager, financial analyst, strategic planner and asset manager.
He served with
the San Antonio Housing Authority as the Vice President of Asset Management and Development enabling him to bridge many of the gaps
between private sector "best practices" and changing governmental practices. Bill has demonstrated skill working with
community stakeholders and a wide variety of consultants at the project
and corporate level.
